Throughout my career in production, I have worked with some of the most prominent brands, A- list celebrities, media giants, powerful innovators, game changing non profits and cutting edge marketing strategists. The Hoboken Chat Room was birthed from something much more personal.
A transplant from the Upper West Side, I was new to Hoboken. A baby at home, one on the way and pounding the local circuit of music and gym classes, to parks and grocery stores, to mommy groups and the coveted nap. A very different life than the one I championed in NYC.

I knew no one. Inspired by the little big town feel of Hoboken, and watching some of the “stay at home-ers” build businesses with baby-in-tow, I wanted to hear more.

I invited a local entrepreneur to my home to tell her business building story to a small group that could in turn, share “who they were before babies” and where they may want to go next. The group was empowering and well received. Life and career strategies changed paths like a good jungle gym and I took a full time job with Refinery29, further expanding my expertise in the event industry. As the story goes… Covid.

Unwilling to let that stop me, I went back to the source that I loved, connecting with the people of this town and initiatives that hit home for me. I quickly figured out that I have a skill set that could help and empower the non profits, schools and businesses in our community. I brought back The Hoboken Chat Room. And this time with a vengeance.
