We wanted to create an informative, entertaining experience for our brand partners and staff that gets them psyched for all the things to come at Refinery29.  We took over Terminal 5 in Manhattan, decking the venue out in wheat pasted posters and banners that reinforced our dedication to all Women. On stage, a triptych screen presented beautifully produced reels and presentations with interstitial performances from Evan Rachel Wood and Chloe x Halle among others. 

 

In front of  650 attendees, we continued to push boundaries of representation for all women in Media.  We landed press accolades in WWD, Deadline, MediaPost, Variety and Adweek among others.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 

Launch Party

Among the very first events to be hosted in the new One World Trade building, Sports Illustrated launched their Swimsuit Edison by taking over one the top floors with surround floor to ceiling views of the city.  Over 600 guests arrived in red carpet style to be immersed in the cityscape of Manhattan, not just in the views, but with custom scenic built through out the space. The main stage was reminiscent of a peak into the apartment buildings of the city, to reveal the gorgeous models from the SI Swimsuit edition.

Large scale fashion show

Working with MKG Productions, the infamous Roseland Ballroom was transformed into the mysterious backwoods of Tennessee as Justin Timberlake and partner Trace Ayala unveiled their collaboration with Swedish designer J. Lindeberg.  The conventions of the fashion world were turned upside down when William Rast decided to honor their southern roots: buckets of iced Budweiser greeted guests upon their arrival. As prelude to the runway show, long-time Madonna collaborator, Jonas Akerlund, directed a faux trailer/short film depicting Justin and model Erin Wasson as Bonnie & Clyde-esque bandits on the run from the law.

The after party was equally impressive sponsored by Conde Nast and continued the design environment of the main stage event.

NBCUniversal showcased their digital portfolio for advertisers and buyers during an amazing event that highlighted the strength of the company’s Original Video, Mobile, Second Screen, Transmedia and Social platforms.

With a creative theme stemming from the launch of the new Amplified. campaign, the space was ignited through digital activations, video screens, social media interactions, giveaways, and a dynamic executive presentation.

Digital was the cornerstone of the live event, and every digital interaction was there to enhance a guest’s experience from beginning to end. From a digital check-in and coat check, to an interactive projection surface, new technologies and social calls to action were seamlessly integrated throughout the event.

Hosting at the gorgeous Alice Tully Hall,  Nickelodeon hosted their 2016 Upfront attended by major advertisers and media.   This is a B to B event held to announce upcoming schedules and to allow marketers to buy television commercial airtime "up front". 

The presentation is packed with celebrity appearances, executive leadership presentations, marketing analysis, of coarse, entertainment.
